{"id":8827,"date":"2022-03-03T18:09:30","date_gmt":"2022-03-03T10:09:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yesmy-dev.azurewebsites.net\/?post_type=docs&#038;p=8827"},"modified":"2022-08-29T10:32:22","modified_gmt":"2022-08-29T02:32:22","password":"","slug":"about-charging-and-using-yes-smartphone","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/yesmy-dev.azurewebsites.net\/zh-hans\/docs\/faq-zh-hans\/yes-devices-zh-hans\/about-charging-and-using-yes-smartphone\/","title":{"rendered":"About Charging and Using Yes Smartphone"},"content":{"rendered":"<ol>\n<li><strong>How do I charge my Yes smartphone?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Yes smartphones use Lithium-ion batteries.\u00a0 To extend your battery\u2019s performance, we recommend the following:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Use the original charger and charging cable provided with your smartphone<\/li>\n<li>Do not leave your smartphone charging for long periods of time<\/li>\n<li>Do not use your smartphone while charging.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Why do smartphones heat up?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Smartphones could heat up due to several factors, including the following:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Long-running videos or anything that keeps your screen on for long periods of time such as video conference (Google Meet, Zoom, etc.) or gaming<\/li>\n<li>Multiple active apps running in the background (Tip: on the YES smartphone, you can remove background apps simply by clicking the menu button twice (in the bottom right of all the screens) and click \u201cCLEAR ALL\u201d)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>What is a normal operating temperature for a smartphone?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Our fingertips are a pretty good judge \u2013 if you feel the device is warm or hot to the touch,\u00a0it is time to let our smartphone (and ourselves) catch a break.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>What should I do if my smartphone is hot?<br \/>\n<\/strong>If your smartphone is warm to the touch, please ensure there is sufficient airflow around it.\u00a0 We also suggest the following:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Keep your apps up to date<\/li>\n<li>Clean up background apps (clicking the menu button twice (in the bottom right of all the screens) and click \u201cCLEAR ALL\u201d)<\/li>\n<li>Turn on Battery Saver Mode<\/li>\n<li>Turn the brightness down<\/li>\n<li>Check the charging cable \u2013 a faulty charging cable can cause the charging unit to malfunction. Please ensure the cable is in good condition and change it if necessary<\/li>\n<li>Do not leave your smartphone on the dashboard in your car, or by the window with direct sunlight<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>How would I know if my smartphone has a swollen battery?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Open the back cover once in a while, and if the battery looks puffy or the center feels soft, it is likely to be swollen.<\/p>\n<p>Once swollen, the battery should not be used.
